I missed so many shows this week. Dude, I can’t see them all. But the shows I did see were visually – and musically  – CRUSHING it.

Mew on Friday a Neumos featured avatar characters on stage – created through  rear screen projection. Seattle knew the lyrics to every song. The crowd was sharing the love.

Saturday night I caught the last show of the Squirrels at the Tractor Tavern. Q:How many last shows do you get before you are required to call it a reunion show? Props, costumes and assorted silliness made the show. Farewell Squirrels!

Quick note on The Moon Spinners who opened. Nice jobs guys. A Fender Strat never sounded so good. They style original tunes in the genre of 50/60 bands, a la Ravonettes.
